HFSU's Spanish Teaching Team Which Lead by Academician Perez Won the Provincial Honor of “Excellent Teaching Team”
Through the recommendation of the school, and verified by the Provincial Education Department, Academician Perez’s Spanish Teaching Team was on the honor list of 2019 Excellent Teaching Team of Regular Colleges and Universities in Hebei Province.

Academician Perez and Doctor Yang Joint Effort to Build Provincial Premium Class, and the Book Which Edit by Them Filled the Gap of the Current Textbook
After a long-term academic accumulation and scientific research process, Dr. Yang Zhen and Academician Perez co-authored book under HFSU named: “China-Latin America and the Caribbean: Memory, Current Situation and Prospect (Second Edition)”, has passed the academic evaluation of Spanish Academic Press, and currently published in the European Union. This book is an achievement of regional and national studies of HFSU, it is written in Spanish, so that nearly 500 million native Spanish speakers around the world can understand the past, present and future of China, Latin America and the Caribbean countries.
It is reported that in 2018, Dr. Yang Zhen and Academician Peres have published the first edition. After a year's expansion, updating and improvement, the second edition was officially released in the European Union now.
In 2019, Hebei Provincial Education Department approved the course "The Relations Between China, Latin America and the Caribbean" as a provincial premium online class, with "China-Latin America and the Caribbean: Memory, Current Situation and Prospect " as the textbook. The courses will be open to the public in 2020.
This book can also be used as undergraduate teaching materials for senior courses "The Relations between China-Latin America" and "Latin American Studies". Which fills in the gap of textbook for Spanish majors in applied universities.

Embodying an Ideal of a Community of Human Destiny
During the “Belt and Road” Summit on International Cooperation, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that “Belt and Road” construction is rooted in the ground of historical silk road. It focuses on the Asian and European continent and opens to all friends. The construction of “Belt and Road” will be discussed by all of us, and the result will be shared by all of us. The construction of “Belt and Road” is a great undertaking and requires great practice. Let's push forward the implementation, achieve the ideal result, and benefit the world and the people.
In order to implement the spirit of Secretary Xi Jinping, to strengthen the construction of professional disciplines in our university, to play as an intelligent tank role under the “Belt and Road” Initiative, and to build a platform for international cooperation and exchanges, HFSU has formed up the China’s "Belt and Road" National Institute of Social Economy and Cultural.
The design inspiration of the Institute's logo comes from China's symbolic image of balance and harmony between yin and Yang, representing China’s history, current situation and future under "Belt and Road" Initiative. Different colors symbolize the sea (Silk Road Economic Belt) and the land (21st century Maritime Silk Road). This concept goes beyond the scope of religious and philosophy, joint "Belt and Road" Initiative together with the concept of community of human destiny, high light the major impact on the world.

"Belt and Road" High Production Academician----Perez
The book《Cross Cultural Dictionary: American Religions from Africa》which wrote and edit by Vice President of HFSU, the advisor of UNESCO Perez recently published in Spain and distributed globally. Academician Peres, as an important anthropologist, cross-cultural expert and expert on regional and national issues, has been published a number of cultural dictionaries, and has a high reputation in the world.
Academician Perez has also published many dictionaries with strong academic repercussions, such as: 《Traditional Culture: Concepts and Basic Terms》, 《Music Dictionary of Spanish and American Spanish (10 volumes in total)》,《Wikipedia: 1000 Questions and Answers》,《Ethnographic Dictionary: the People of the Caribbean Island, Mexico and Central America》,《Ethnographic Dictionary: the People of South America》.
Academician Perez has been compiled and published 《Ethnography Dictionary of Latin America and the Caribbean》(Volume I and II), it is the first foreign language dictionary on Latin American and Caribbean ethnic, race, language and culture, It has filled in the research gap in Latin American Culture and Anthropology in the world. These two dictionaries won the "2017 national award of the Cuban Academy of Sciences".

Section One
Hebei Provincial Department of Education Specially Invited HFSU Academicians to Hold a Symposium
Deputy Directors of Hebei Provincial Department of Education Wang Tingshan and Dong Zhujuan, presided over the Symposium on the morning of April 18th, 2019. Leaders from HFSU whom attended the meeting are: President Sun Jianzhong, Vice President Xi Wei, Vice President Perez, Academician Ramagoshi, Academician Yaile, Foreign Affairs Assistant to the President Yang Zhen, Foreign Affairs President Chen Wei, and Deputy Director of International Affairs Office Wang Yunli. At the symposium, Academician Peres, Ramahosh and Yaile introduced their own research fields, research achievements, future work deployment in HFSU, and put forward suggestions for the work. The leaders of the Provincial Education Department had a good communication with the three academicians over the symposium.

Academicians from HFSU received high praised from brother universities
HFSU is the first private university in Hebei Province which with a foreign academician workstation. On December 11th and 12th, 2018, Academician Perez and Academician Ramagoshi went to Tangshan Normal University and North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering to give lectures to the teachers and students. They were praised by the teachers and students of the universities, and won the praise for HFSU.
The exchange delegation received warm welcome by Tangshan Normal University. Secretary of the Party Committee Wang Ying, President Du Caiqin, Vice President Sun Lijun, and the Director of International Exchange Center Li Lina. Tangshan Normal University appreciated the nice arrangement by Hebei Foreign Affairs Bureau, and warmly welcomed two foreign Academicians of HFSU to visit them. In the afternoon 2:30 p.m., Professor Wang Ying, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tangshan Normal University, led two foreign Academicians into the campus theatre to provide the lecture, both of them received thunderous applause from the audience.
On December 12th, 2018, HFSU exchange delegation arrived at North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering and received warm welcome by Vice President Li Guohong, Director Chen Jian, and leaders of Langfang Municipal Foreign Affairs Bureau. Two foreign Academicians of HFSU provided a marvelous lecture, which received high praised from all the students and the teachers in North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering. Students have said: this lecture not only broaden their horizons, but also give them a deeper understanding of the significance of China's "Belt and Road” Initiative.
HFSU has carried out in-depth international exchanges and cooperation with the Cuban Academy of Sciences and the Cuban Academy of Historical Sciences, and respectively becoming the "Post Doctoral Research Station" of the two institute in China.

Premier Li Keqiang received HFSU Vice President Perez Warmly and Had Dinner Together
In the afternoon of January 25th, 2019, Premier of the people's Republic of China Li Keqiang received Academician Perez, the Vice President of HFSU and other high-end foreign experts who came to Beijing to attend the Spring Festival Symposium of Foreign Experts. There were 45 foreign experts from all over the country. At the Symposium, Academician Peres is 1 of the 6 foreign experts who spoke with Premier directly.
After the symposium, Premier Li Keqiang hosted a banquet for foreign experts. It's a great honor to had dinner together with Premier Li Keqiang. After the dinner, Premier Li Keqiang went to Academician Perez to shake hands and take a group photo. Academician Perez personally handed his suggestions to Premier Li Keqiang in paper letters, and the Premier accepted it happily.

Party and State Leaders Cordially Received the Vice President of HFSU,
and Listen to His Report on Development and Construction of HFSU
Vice President Perez and Vice President Ramagoshi of HFSU were invited to Beijing on September 27th, 2019, to attend the reception of 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, which was held in the banquet hall of the Great Hall of the People at 5:30 p.m.
During the reception, Han Zheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, cordially received two Vice Presidents of HFSU. On behalf of President Sun Jianzhong and 21000 teachers and students of HFSU, Academician Perez extended warm greetings to Vice Premier Han Zheng, and reported on the development and construction of HFSU under “Belt and Road” Initiative, especially the cooperation between HFSU and Cuba. Vice Premier Han Zheng nodding his head and ask his assistant to recorded the contents of the talk. The communication lasts for 10 mins, two Academicians were deeply moved by the friendship and modesty of Vice Premier Han Zheng.
HFSU Academician Perez familiar with 6 languages: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Russian and English. Academician Peres has been engaged in history, cultural anthropology and Latin American research all his life. He has traveled all over the world, attended more than 400 world academic conferences, and made reports in different language countries, which has attracted high praise from peers in the international academic community.
As a consultant of UNESCO, Academician Perez has been working with French speaking countries for many years. Academician Perez graduated from Moscow Academy of Sciences in Russia. He has studied Russian for many years, and has a close academic cooperation with Russian Academy of Sciences. Russian language can be used as his working language. Academician Peres is a visiting professor in 43 universities over 15 countries. He is invited to give lectures in various countries. He is a foreign Academician of the New York Academy of Sciences of the United States and has the ability to communicate and work in English language. Academician Perez is a lifelong Merit Academician of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, an Academician of the Cuba Academy of Historical Sciences, own three Academician title in the world's top Humanities and Social Sciences domain. His native language is Spanish, and he knows Portuguese and Italian as well.

I am Perez, an expert in the research of China- Latin American relations, cultural anthropology and foreign language education. Currently I’m the Vice President of HFSU, and the Executive Director of "Belt and Road" National Economic and Cultural Institute. I am a member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, a member of the Cuban Academy of Historical Sciences, and a Specialist Foreign Expert in Hebei province. Before he came to Hebei, he also served as a consultant to the International Scientific Committee of UNESCO, I am an academician of the New York Academy of Sciences, and other positions.
January 25th, 2019 is a day that I will never forget, and also a day that I am proud of in my life. In the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, on behalf of all foreign experts in Hebei Province, I have the honor to receive a cordial interview from Premier Li Keqiang. I reported to Premier Li Keqiang the unremitting efforts of the Hebei provincial government to improve the work and life of foreign experts, as well as the warmth and care we felt in Hebei. At the same time, I reported to the Premier the current situation and development of HFSU. Under the “Belt and Road” Initiative, HFSU has established China's "Belt and Road" National Institute of Social Economy and Cultural. With the support of Hebei Foreign Experts Bureau, we will invite and introduce more foreign academicians to participate in the construction of new Hebei. Premier Li Keqiang is very interested in the "Healthy Silk Road" and "Talent Silk Road" proposed by me. All aspects are closely connected with the introduction of foreign talents and intellectual work in Hebei.
After working in Hebei for more than one year, I have the following feelings: working in Hebei has a sense of belonging. There are many historical and cultural sites in Hebei Province where with a lot of cultural heritage. Hebei people are diligent, enthusiastic, friendly, and innovative. In recent years, the infrastructure construction of Shijiazhuang has developed rapidly, the air improvement is obvious, the life in here is convenient, and the economic development potential is great. Hebei Foreign Experts Bureau is eager for talents, sincere and pragmatic, which makes me and my foreign colleagues feel the same. We believe that we can create the future here. I also hope that Hebei can make up for the shortcomings, give full play to its own advantages and introduce more and higher-end talents.
Today, China's science and technology is developing rapidly, creating many remarkable "Chinese miracles", which are full of vitality and opportunities. The coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and the planning and construction of Xiong'an new area bring broad prospects for the development of Hebei. Only by continuously promoting the modernization and high-quality economic development and creating a good environment for venture capital, can more foreign talents and foreign enterprises enter Hebei. Therefore, it is a necessary measure for the development of Hebei Province to accelerate the industrial upgrading, build a healthy and sustainable industrial structure, and attract international cutting-edge talents and high-end industries.
With the further deepening of China's reform and opening up, more and more foreign talents will come to work and live in Hebei. I believe that there will be a better prospect for development here.
