A
sudden epidemic situation in 2020 makes our winter break unusual. The arranged
meeting and classes are all changed by the change of the situation. The
teachers and students of Hebei Foreign Studies University (HFSU) are scattered
all over the places, even around the world. The school establishes a leading
group for safety and epidemic prevention, in order to carry out the work in an
orderly manner. When our motherland needs us, we should do our duty, and keep everything
in order. Under the national epidemic situation, HFSU is like a well-organized
and powerful team, taking firm steps.
As
a foreign language university, there are 210 foreign experts. Since the epidemic
situation burst out, some of them were kept away from other countries and some
were left on campus. HFSU concerns about the foreign teacher’ safety very much,
and would do whatever it cost to protect the foreign teachers whom were left on
campus. Visit foreign teachers and purchased masks for them Disinfected apartments
and measured body temperature became the daily routine. The foreign teachers
also made the practical action of following the unified arrangement and
fighting the epidemic situation with us together. Through all the efforts we
made together, we have effectively prevented the spread of the epidemic. School
terms is coming on the corner, our foreign teachers no matter at home or
abroad, all do their best to offer online courses for students to study at
home.
The Indonesian
Embassy in China has a group on Indonesian language teaching, more than ten
Indonesian language universities in China were in the group, and Hebei Foreign
Studies University (HFSU) was one of it. Mr. Yaya, the Education Counsellor of
the Embassy, cordially greets everyone and wish everyone all the best and to
have a good health.
